Skyline Ranch Estate is literally perched on a hilltop with great views in almost every direction. Often you can find neighbors out walking or riding bikes through this scenic Wimberley subdivision.

Skyline Ranch subdivision is located near the site of the Plum Creek Indian battle, one of the last battles in the Texas hill country between settlers supported by Texas Rangers in a skirmish with Comanche Indians.

Buyers who are looking for that view property in Wimberley will be attracted to this subdivision. Paradise Hills and River Mountain Ranch are other Wimberley area subdivisions with great views.

Skyline Ranch Estates Real Estate

In a too thin to judge market, with only three sales in 2024, prices remained strong in Skyline Ranch Estates. Look at the price range from 2021 to 2024.

Skyline Ranch Estates had only one sale in 2023 and only two sales in 2022. With so little data there is no need to make deductions about trends.

With only two home sales in Skyline Ranch during 2021, one has to be careful when making too many conclusions from such limited sales. However the two homes both sold for significantly more than in 2020 and did so with a time on the market of only eight days,

Home sales in Skyline Ranch for 2020 consisted of larger homes than in previous years, with three of the five homes sold over 3000 sq. ft. and on larger acreage. When looking at the per square foot numbers prices have remained steady over the last few years.

2019 saw very few homes come on the market in Skyline Ranch with only two homes sold for the year which is a repeat of both 2017 and 2018 which saw only two homes sold in each of those two years. So we are dealing with a very small sampling. That being said the average homes sold in the Skyline Ranch subdivision for the years 2018 and 2019,  had an average sales price of $454,140 and a median sales price of $450,000.
These stats are very misleading with the extremely small sales data and the size of homes sold over the last year well below the average of previous years. Smaller older homes are what have come on the market and sold. What might be significant is the price per square foot which has risen around 54% over a five-year period.
