Las Lomas subdivision is known for the exotic animals which roam the neighborhood. Homes are built on spacious five-acre tracts and the roaming wildlife gives the land a wildlife tax exemption. It is a gated community and St. Stephens Episcopal School (private) is located just outside the entryway. located Las Lomas subdivision is located north/east of Wimberley off RR 3237.
It is a small subdivision in terms of the number of homes but large in size (acres) with lots of room to roam. Homebuyers are drawn to it because of it's large tracts, walking and riding areas. Most of the homes in Las Lomas were built in the mid-1990s.
Saddle Ridge is another good neighborhood along with Mustang Valley and for homebuyers who are looking for large open spaces.

Prices for the Las Lomas subdivision continue to trend higher in 2023 on very limited sales volume. There were four homes sold in this subdivision and only two in 2022 but what is selling is at higher prices.
The trend for Las Lomas, like most of the Wimberley area for 2021 is up. Please note that these stats, with three home sales in 2021 and only two in 2020 are not very significant but are here to provide information of home sales for this subdivision. As with most of Wimberley, close prices are higher than ask.
With only two home sales in Las Lomas in 2020 and only two in 2019, there are not enough statistics to make any hard judgments. The size of homes in 2020 was significantly smaller and thus the lower price. Keep in mind that Las Lomas homes sit on 5-10 acre tracts.
