Wimberley Breweries, Bars, Pubs and Wineries

Where to have a drink in Wimberley

Wimberley offers a lot of choices when it comes to having a drink with friends. From great breweries and wineries to local pubs and full bars. Drinks are served on the tops of mountains and down on the creek and all places in between. Inside or outside with or without music. From a full dining menu or food truck, one does not have to look far to have an adult beverage in Wimberley.

Shady Llama-Wimberley's only outdoor brewpub with fabulous hill country views and a great lineup of Texas tap beers. Easy going place and it is family and dog-friendly. Head north on RR12 approximately 4 miles on the left. Look for the sign as it is easy to miss.
Middleton Brewing- Small local brewing company that does it's own thing..and does it very well. Don't come here looking for your favorite lite beer, this establishment is for the real brew lover..check them out. Follow RR 12 all the way south until you come to the junction..veer left on RR 12 and go two or three miles..located on RR 12...nice setting inside or out...on the left side of the road. 512-847-3435.
Roughhouse Brewing- Described as an American farmhouse brewing style, what I can attest to is this is an outstanding place to have a refreshing beer, very comfortable. Located east of the junction off Oakwood Loop (turn at Middletons or even better have one there and one here).
Longleaf- Worldclass cocktails...as good as they come. On the square.
Driftwood Estate Winery- Incredible views of the hill country.Great place to spend an afternoon. Located north of Wimberley off Elder Hill Rd.
Wimberley Valley Winery- Great wine selection and very nice building and outdoor seating.
Savage's Hill Country Bar- Full bar with lots of great beer in the bottle. Often they have live music on weekends. Nice views from the deck.
