There are no home sales reported for the Mountain Crest subdivision for 2023. If there had been any offered, I predict that they would have sold in a hurry. That being said, let's look at 2022 when there were 8 homes sold and the average sold price was above the average asking price. Both average and median sales prices soared in 2022 with the average home prices up 26.32 percent over 2021.
There were three home sales in Mountain Crest during 2021. Prices, like everywhere in Wimberley were significantly higher, and selling prices were above the asking price.
With only one home sold in 2020 in Mountain Crest and two home sales in 2019, there is not enough statistical evidence to point in any direction. Prices have remained steady from the previous year. It is important to note that there were not any unsold homes during the 2019, 2020, and 2021 time periods. The only homes that were placed on the market sold.
