About Rainbow Ranch subdivision:

Rainbow Ranch is ideally situated between Wimberley and Driftwood. Many of the lots are filled with large oaks and feature great hill country views.

Rainbow Ranch is a mid-sized subdivision located some nine miles north and east of Wimberley off Lone Man Mountain Road. What you need to know is that the roads are caliche. They are often rough which means a lot of things. It is dusty but it also brings privacy as there are not a lot of lookers driving around on these roads. I have had people tell me that they live there for privacy.

About Rainbow Ranch Real Estate:

Real estate sales in Rainbow Ranch subdivsion  during 2023 saw lower overall prices but keep in mind that the average size of the homes were also signifcantly lower. The important stat here, in my opinion is that average price per square foot was fairly even when compared to 2022.

There were four homes sold in the Rainbow Ranch subdivision in 2022 with home sale prices increasing by 16.7% on much smaller acreage size.

There were only two homes sold in the Rainbow Ranch subdivision during 2021 so we will not put a lot of value when comparing to sales in 2020. There is no doubt, however, that prices were higher and much higher when looking at price per square foot.

2020 saw a pickup to five homes sold which were much larger homes selling for less per sq. ft and therefore less in average home price. With only one home sold in 2019, I have combined sales from 2019 and 2018. Rainbow Ranch subdivision saw a large price increase when compared to the previous two years (2016-2017).
