This is one of the newer subdivisions in the quiet community of Driftwood. Lot sizes are generally in the two-acre range with hill country views and some distance views. Sierra West is a small-sized development and not one of the mammoth developments found along Austin's perimeter. The famous Salt Lick restaurant is just around the corner as is the wonderful Italian restaurant and vineyards Trattoria Lisina. 2025 home sales dropped dsoen to a more normal year with only three homes sold in Sierra west as compared to ten the precious year. Prices remained steady.

Home sales picked up significantly in 2024 in Sierra West with a total of ten homes being sold as compared to three the previous year.

Larger homes were sold in Sierra West subdivision during 2023 with volume down to only three homes sold. Prices were higher and the price per square foot held steady. Days on market increased significantly from the previous year.

Sierra West subdivision continues its steady rise in price with both sold price and price per square foot higher than in 2021. The number of homes sold was down significantly from the previous year.

Another year of significantly higher prices for Sierra West subdivision in 2021 with the price per square foot rising by $37 and days on market being cut in half. Also, note that the Sold price exceeds the asking price.

Sierra West subdivision home prices were significantly higher again in 2020. Home sales for Sierra West in 2020 were slightly higher when looking at price per square foot. They were smaller homes than in 2019 and therefore did not total as much as in 2019. The average home sales price for 2020 was $597,200 and the median sales price was $552,500.
