Where to hear music in Wimberley :
For a small town, Wimberley is blessed to have so much good music. Maybe that has something to do with the quantity and quality of musicians who live in Wimberley. From restaurants, bars, and outdoor patios the music resonates throughout the Wimberley Valley. Listen to the music.
Covid completely messed up the live music scene in Wimberley, but it is starting to come back to life.
Savage's Hill Country Bar- Often has live bands on Weekends. Check with them before driving out. Located at the junction where RR12 Meets RR 32.
The Tavern at Cypress Falls-More of a local bar setting (less touristy) with full bands on Friday and Saturday nights playing everything from old rock to blues and everything in between. Full bar and a few select local drafts. Take RR 2325 at the Y just before HEB for about a mile and look for the entrance to Eagle Rock (three flags) and turn left...go a couple of blocks and turn into the Cypress Falls Resort.
Devils Backbone Tavern-Old tavern with new owners bringing some really good music back to the Wimberley area. If you are looking for quality music check to see who is playing here first. Take RR 32 at the junction and head west for a few miles.
Fischer Haus Cantina- Has been closed due to covid but rumor has it that they may be coming back in the summer of 2022. I sure hope so.My favorite music venue in the Wimberley area but be aware that it is an outdoor music venue and therefore seasonal so google before making the drive. If you do not recognize the band...do not be concerned...if you are good enough to play the Fischer Haus concert series you are really, really good.
Community Pizza- Often has singles and duos playing great music on weekends.
Middleton Brewery- Usually has someone or a band playing on weekends.
